Head of QA Operations

Location: Paris, France

Salary and package: Around €100,000 + 20% bonus


We're excited to be working with a Top 10 pharmaceutical company based in France. This well-established biotech production plant is looking for a Head of QA Operations to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Quality Site Head, the Head of QA Operations is responsible for the management of a team of 35 people with 7 direct reports across chemistry and biotech areas. This role involves day-to-day management of the group, supporting manufacturing, QC, supply chain, qualification, and validation & utilities.


Areas of responsibility/direct reports include:

  • QA Quality Control
  • QA Operations HA&C (Highly Active & Conjugates products)
  • QA Operations BLP (Biolaunch, biotech multi-product commercial facility)
  • QA Support Operations


To be considered for this role and to succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Major Authority (FDA, Anvisa, ANSM) hosting/front room experience
  • Biologicals experience, either DS or DP
  • Commercial manufacturing experience
  • 10+ years of industrial experience
  • Global company experience with a complex matrix
  • Change management experience
  • French and English language skills
  • Willingness to release batches
