Key Responsibilities:
Research Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive research strategies, including program planning and budgeting, to address critical scientific and business needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective coordination across research, technical, and operational functions to achieve project goals.
Scientific Oversight: Oversee end-to-end research design and execution, including data analysis, result interpretation, and strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external experts, building strong scientific partnerships to drive program success.
Problem Solving: Address complex scientific and technical challenges, providing innovative solutions to advance research outcomes.
Scientific Communication: Prepare and present scientific findings, program updates, and risk assessments to diverse audiences, including key stakeholders and scientific peers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background: PhD in Biological Sciences, with post-doctoral or equivalent experience.
Industry Expertise: At least 10 years of experience in non-clinical or translational research, with a strong focus on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading complex research programs, including strategy development, planning, and budgeting.
Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to process complex, ambiguous information quickly to make strategic decisions.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively.
Results-Oriented: Demonstrated commitment to delivering results and driving projects from concept to completion.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
